Angie Mabry-Nauta

Rev. Angie Mabry-Nauta is a theologian, freelance writer and an ordained Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Reformed Church in America.  She holds a Master of Divinity from Western Theological Seminary in Holland, MI, where she was recognized for academic achievement.  Angie served in congregational ministry for 6 years as solo pastor and interim preacher. Her spiritual gifts include theology, preaching, writing, teaching, pastoral care and children’s ministry.

Angie has served her denomination as a delegate to the National Council Churches of Christ, twice a corresponding delegate to General Synod and currently is a member of theCommission on Theology . She writes on her own blog “Woman, in Progress…” (www.revangiem-n.com), for the Church Herald Blog on the Reformed Church in America website and as contracted. Additionally, Angie volunteers her personal time by serving on the advisory board of Teddy Bear Junction, an early childhood development preschool.

Harmony is an important value in Angie’s life, and her vocation is well balanced by her family life. She and Eric, her husband, are parents to Sophia and Zoe. They reside in Plano, TX, a northern suburb of Dallas. Angie enjoys new experiences, reading, college football, good friends, good wine, good food and good conversation.
