The Rev. Beth Herrinton-Hodge is a writer, teacher, parent, clergy-spouse, Certified Christian educator, and ordained Teaching Elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA). At the ripe old age of fifty (50!), she’s happy to have fallen into a vocation that allows her to both write and teach. She serves as a adjunct instructor for a local community college, teaching courses in Comparative World Religions and English Composition. She is a regular newspaper correspondent, reporting on items of local interest for a small-town paper. She also writes Christian education materials under contract for various denominational publishing houses.
Beth has served a number of Presbyterian congregations across the United States as a Director of Christian Education, Associate Pastor, and Interim Pastor. She also served in the national offices of the PC(USA) in Louisville, KY, where she was an Associate for Curriculum Development with Congregational Ministries Publishing.
Beth and her husband, Jay, live in Shelbyville, KY, where they nurture and cherish two daughters along their journey through life.
